"I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth. "
Psalm 121:1-2
"I lift up my eyes to you,
to you whose throne is in heaven.
As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the LORD our God,
till he shows us his mercy. "
Psalm 123:1-2

Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this beautiful song, and video. I have always loved Psalm 121, it was one of the first chapters I had to memorize as a teenager, and it has always had such special meaning to me!

That is one of my fav. psalms--I grew up near Mountains and I always thought of this verse in gazing out at them. Now I live in the flat-lands, but visit some mountains occasionally on the other side of the state. It is amazing all that God is to us--so thankful to know Him our Helper.
