Our Island Paradise
This is the entrance to our island.
This is the Bridge Street Pier. It is a small area with quaint restaurants and specialty shops. On Saturdays they have an open air market. Many will dock their boats and come in for dinner.
This is a view through the mangroves to the beach.
I told you the water is turquoise.
I saved this for last. The sunsets are amazing. We have what they call flash over. Just before the sun sets in the ocean you may see a flash of green. We love to sit on the beach with our glass of wine and just enjoy the beauty.
I hope you enjoyed our little tour of our amazing island. We do rent out our island house if anyone is interested. Just contact me and I will give you the information.
Till next time, Happy Decorating

Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday!
Gorgeous photos...make me think of the Calgon bath commercials "Take Me Away"... I adore the beach. Your island area is somewhere I could live..if there were no hurricanes!
Thanks for sharing your photos with us!
Have a great day
Susan
Beautiful shots, the sunset is amazing. We visit the Florida gulf coast every year (St. George Island) and have fallen in love with it. I'm not familiar with the area you are in, I assume it's further south? Just gorgeous, lucky you! Kathy
Hi Kathleen
YOur island is beautiful! Now where exactly is it? I can just imagine how wonderful it is to sit and enjoy the sunsets, sunrises...the beautiful water.
Thank you for sharing.
I would be interested in having some information on your place.
It looks sooo inviting and especially on this day of snowstorms and 9" accumulations.
Enjoy this lovely day
