Show and Tell Friday

Another great Show and Tell Friday hosted by Kelli at There Is No Place Like Home http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/ Take a stroll over to her blog and visit other wonderful participants.

My Date With Art
Art has been demanding alot of my time recently. He sneaks up on me when I'm least expecting and whispers creative thoughts into my ear. He takes me away on new adventures and helps me see things in a new light. He is always with me and inspiring me to do great things.

This is what has been keeping me busy lately. I painted this yesterday. I have to name it but the first name that came to mind is, A Tree Grows In Brooklyn. Mixed media has been intriguing to me recently so I wanted to try my hand at it. I spent a rainy Monday at Barnes & Noble. With a mocha latte (they don't have pumpkin spice anymore (boo who) and a blueberry scone in hand, I spent hours going through art books and reading about some techniques. It was alot of fun to make and I really like some of the techniques. The only problem is, I don't have any more wall space. I may just have to start selling them. I feel an etsy store opening soon.

Till nest time, Happy Decorating
