Porch Sitting

Sometimes the simpler the better. Rustic porches that call out for a quiet afternoon

maybe a few hours to draw or paint amongst the trees

or a casual lunch while listening to the birds in the trees

or finish your book while listening to the babbling brook

and finally linger awhile until the sun sets and listen to the sounds of the crickets

You don't have to leave home to go on a mini vacation. Create one for yourself.

I certainly enjoyed mine this weekend.
