Blue Monday, Vintage Hats

Happy Blue Monday, hosted by Sally @ smilingsally.

These beautiful hats remind me of my Grandmother. I grew up Catholic and we always had to have our head covered in church. My Grandmother had a wonderful collection. I wish I had them now.

These are beautiful. My grandmother had a hat to match every suit and costume jewelry to boot!

What beautiful shades of blue and such lovely hats. My Granny always wore hats but only black one. Never did know why.

I love all your vintage blue hats! I also collect vintage hats. I display them in my cabin up in the mountains in one of the rooms. I wish the style was still here and we could wear these kind of hats!

I remember when ladies wore hats and gloves. Then, just at Easter. Now, seldom, unless you're the Queen of England! Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

Great hats.

I look terrible in hats and for that reason only am glad that we don't wear them all of the time now...as was the fashion in years past... however, I love the look!!!

While there is much to enjoy about today's more casual style, I hate that so many never "dress up" any longer. These hats are really fun to view.

You created such a pretty collage of these blue hats. I have a strange head for hats(I think I look odd in them) but I appreciate the beauty of a lovely hat.

Ahh, yes I remember all the ladies in their hats at the Baptist church, too. That was a fun era. My daughter loves to try on vintage hats! Fun...
