Cross Stitching On A Saturday Afternoon

I loved the art work of Marjolein Bastin the first time I laid eyes on it. It was a perfect fit for my love of nature. At the time I was doing cross stitch like crazy. I have a huge basket of completed projects to show for it. It was my way of relaxing and keeping my hands busy while I watched all the design shows on TV. I probably cross stitched all of her patterns. I almost sold them when I moved and have thought about selling them on etsy. But, I have still hung on to them. It has been awhile since I have done any needlework. I guess moving four times in two years didn't allow me enough time and heck I didn't even know where they were. I think I may have them in a box in the garage. So, guess where I'm heading? I'm going to spend the afternoon cross stitching and drinking tea and them maybe read a book. Doesn't it sound like the perfect lazy day? How are you spending a lazy day these days?

This is the pattern that I am working on now. The top half is completed and I am working the bottom of the bench.

This pattern is completed and hanging in my laundry room

These two are done but not framed yet

Blessings,

Kathleen - those are so pretty - a sweet way to spend a lazy day.

I haven't had a lazy day in a while. The next one I get will be spent with a good book by the pool, I hope.
