Metamorphosis Monday Brass Lamp Revival

Metamorphosis Monday hosted by: Susan at Between Naps on the Porch

Take a jog over to Susan's to view more spectacular transformations

Look what a little polishing cream and elbow grease can do for an unsightly lamp. The after is amazing with new shiny silver and a modern black shade. Very elegant, I must say...

The team over at Style North are the masterminds behind some of the most inexpensive, yet luxurious makeovers. Visit Apartment Therapy and see how this brass lamp (usually destined for spray paint) was revived using an inexpensive product called Blue Magic Polishing Cream and found in the automotive department.

Wow, what a transformation. I have a bunch of brass candlesticks and 2 lamps that I would like to revive. This is a miracle worker. Looks absolutely fabulous. Hugs, Marty

Ohhh, Kathleen! I was hoping you would tell us how to do that! I have an old lamp of my mom's that I can't bring myself to spray paint! Perfect solution! Thanks!...Debbie

This looks amazing! I'm confused though. The lamp was brass, and now it's silver? I'll have to check this stuff out. I am always finding old brass things and wishing I could change them.
Thanks for sharing!

I gave away an old pair of Stiffle lamps that I had for 30 years because I could never get them to look good. Little did I know there was such a wonderful product on the market. Thanks for sharing and I hope to bring some life back to the rest of the things that need a shine in my home.
