So begins the story of a young widow who believes that she is being haunted by her husband's ghost. But David, her husband, disappeared in a kayaking accident and his body was never found.
In a mysterious narrative that follows the holiday seasons from Halloween to Easter, Laura Brodie examines the line between life and death, marriage and divorce, grief and comfort, as her widowed protagonist tries to bring to life her own dormant spirit.

Ooohh Kathleen...
Sweetie this sounds like such a good book. I am afraid I am going to have to make a Barnes and Noble run at lunch tomorrow. I so love a good book. The cover alone is enticing to me. I can't wait.
Cold in Florida? No way. I thought Florida was the Sunshine state. What the heck is going on down there? Cold enough for the fireplace? Come on out to Phoenix sweetie. We have good weather here. Now I don't have the ocean, but I do have the warm temperatures. Come visit me anytime.
Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
